9th Annual Meeting of the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network NRW

Date: December 10, 2009

Location: Hotel InterContinental, Duesseldorf

The year 2009 was shaped mainly by the discussion about electric mobility – respectively the question what exactly is electric mobility. The role of hydrogen as a future fuel was debated controversially. Meanwhile the opinion prevailed that electric mobility covers both: battery-electric vehicles (BEV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCEV). Due to many similarities BEV and FCEV will complement each other perfectly and cover different demands for mobile applications. The spectrum of activities of the network has widende accordingly.

Against the background of these developments the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Network NRW invited for the ninth time to its annual meeting in Dusseldorf. This year's program reflected the developments outlined above and raised the issue of electric mobility giving examples of national and international activities and projects. In order to give more time for your discussion with other attendants of our meeting the network invited to a subsequent "Come Together".

Beside visitations and ride events during the breaks were provided in the new Daimler fuel cell bus. Also a hybrid garbage truck was presented by FAUN.

Here you will find the programme.
